Dr. Peter Adejoh, a seasoned businessman and chairman/CEO of Camey and Rock Holdings, has been selected Entrepreneur of the Year.
Dr. Adejoh received the honor at the just finished ICONIC RECOGNITION AWARD NIGERIA event held at the Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Abuja and organized by Icons Events Nigeria/Ministry of Information.
According to the organisers, the award was conferred on Adejoh for his setting the pace in hospitality and financial services.Adejoh added in a statement made immediately after earning the honor that it was unique to him since it brought everything home and made him so emotional.
In his statement, the well-known philanthropist stated that the development of the Nigerian economy is what he wishes to advocate for at the moment.
Because “if Nigerians don’t grow themselves, and by extension develop others around them, they won’t be able to make real contributions on the society,” he urged Nigerians to promote advancement, self-improvement, and human capital development.
He emphasized that Nigerians ought to celebrate their accomplishments and pay attention to the good rather than the drawbacks.
