Wife of the Governor of Benue State Dr. Eunice Ortom has charged women to remain steadfast in thanksgiving to God even as they continue to pray for their families and the state.
The Benue State First Lady stated this today, Saturday 9th April 2022 at the 80th convocation of Benue Women In Prayer (BEWIP) which held at the Chapel of Grace, Government House Makurdi with the theme: A New Song Unto Our God.
While appreciating the leadership and members of BEWIP for being consistent up to its 80th convocation, Dr. Ortom who is also the converner of the interdenominational prayer group asserted that it was important for Christians to offer thanksgiving of songs and praises unto God in every situation bearing in mind that without His mercies, it could have been worse.
Highlight of the Thanksgiving service/prayer convocation was the empowerment of 10 widows to start up Small / Medium Enterprises as well as expand existing ones.
