Davido, a popular musician in Nigeria, and his fiancee, Chioma Rowland, have recently suffered the loss of their child, Ifeanyi Adeleke.

The passing of Davido’s son Ifeanyi Adeleke occurred on the 31st of October.

Ifeanyi Adeleke was reported to have drowned a few days after his third birthday, which occurred on October 20, according to information that made its way to Kemi Filani News.

“The boy remained inside water for too long and they hauled him out and transported him to the hospital,” the family source claimed under anonymity in order to wait for an official declaration before revealing their identity.

It was confirmed that he had passed away this evening at the Lagoon hospital in Lagos.

Before Ifeanyi passed away this morning, Davido was seen working with him to teach him how to swim earlier today.

The singer known for “Electricity” was seen with Ifeanyi in the large pool that is a part of his estate in footage that have been making the rounds on social media.

Davido hoisted the young child onto his shoulders and instructed him to move his legs around in the water while he was doing so. The child was three years old.

While the active child continued to move his legs around, the famous musician carried Ifeanyi around the swimming pool.

Davido, who was evidently moved by his son’s performance, was overheard remarking that he was a quick student after hearing about it.

He told her, “This one is going to learn quickly.”

Ifeanyi’s parents, Chioma and Davido, threw a huge party to commemorate their son’s third birthday before they found out about his tragic and heartbreaking passing.

In 2018, Nigerian artist Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, better known by his stage as D’banj, and his wife Lineo Didi tragically lost their first child as a result of a drowning event. Davido and Chioma’s tragedy comes years after D’banj and Lineo Didi’s tragedy.

A swimming pool at Dbanj’s home in ikoyi, Lagos state, was the location of the tragic drowning death of Daniel Oyebanjo III, who had just turned one year old.

The well-known Nigerian singer and entertainer shared a somber picture of himself on Instagram with the phrase “Trying Times” after he announced the passing of his kid. But my God is Faithful Always and for All Eternity”.

The news of D’banj’s son’s passing was reportedly broken to him when he was in Los Angeles for the 2018 BET Awards.

Back in May of 2017, D’Banj and his wife Didi Lineo became the proud parents of a son whom they named after D’Banj himself: Daniel Oyebanjo III.

The nucleus of the couple’s families were the only guests during their intimate wedding in June of 2016, which took place in a very private setting.

Despite this, they have decided to take in two additional children after the loss of their first child.
