Dino Melaye, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for governor of Kogi State, has asserted that God funded his primary race.Melaye claimed that the anointing oil he provided delegates to drink was the “magic” behind his victory in the primary election at the time.
On Tuesday, he stated while participating in the Channels Television show Politics Today.
Melaye asserts: “However, I’m not a member of the EFCC or ICPC personnel. I won’t know whether there was money, but if I can’t afford to fund a primary, something is wrong.
“God funded me; I bank with the All-Powerful God. I used anointing oil to mobilize my delegates, and it worked like a charm.
“I have informed you that I think Phil’ 4:19 is true, that he did provide for all of my requirements in accordance with His riches and glory in Christ Jesus.
