Mr. Iorliam Shija have joined Benue youths to express their heartfelt appreciation to the outgoing First Lady of Benue state Dr Eunice Ortom for her role , as the mother of Benue and pillar of youths and women .
In a press release signed by the duo who have been strong supporters of the Governor for 8 years stated that Dr Mrs Ortom touched many lives as first lady.

As the administration of His Excellency, Samuel Ortom winds down after two successful terms , we want to in a special way, appreciate the mother of Benue State, Dr Eunice Erdoo Ortom, Wan Adaga in her role , as the mother of Benue and pillar of youths and women .
Through out the outgoing tenure of your husband, our father , you didn’t only touch numerous Benue youths and women through your pet project, Eunice Spring of Life Foundation, ESLF, in areas of Health, Education, Agriculture, Sports , Entrepreneur and Advocacy against Gender based Violence, but you helped in raising young people and mentoring same.
Mother General of Benue , as you enter the last lap of your service year, it is only important that we as a group, appreciate you on behalf of the countless youths you touched POSITIVELY. We wish to put on notice that many might have occupied the office before you and many more after you, but we doubt if Benue will ever see a dutiful mother who went on selfless to touch lives like you.
We do not have anything to offer in return for your service, but to continue to pray for you . Thank you mummy, we are proud of you and we appreciate you.
