JECHIRA STUDENTS ASSOCIATION (JESA) NATIONAL SECRETARIAT STRONGLY CONDEMNS THE ATTACK ON BONTA VILLAGE IN SHANGEV TIEV, KONSHISHA LG BY MEN OF THE NIGERIAN ARMY.

Jechira Students Association (JESA)National secretariate have vehemently condemned the unprofessional action of the Nigerian army on the armless and innocent people of Bonta village in Shangev tiev, Konshisha local government.

The ugly incident which occurred in the late hours of yesterday evening leaving a good number of people dead and their houses burnt by men of the Nigerian Army who were reported to have arrived with a helicopter and started shooting and burning down houses of defenseless civilians.

We call on the federal government under the leadership of President Muhammedu Buhari and all relevant authorities to move swiftly in probing the Nigerian Army and ensuring the perpetrators of this evil genocide are brought to justice. Jechira students will not sit and watch men of the Nigerian army unleash a genocidal agenda on our people.

We are calling on the attention of the National Human rights commission and transparency international to look into this matter and ensure the perpetrators of this evil agenda do not goes scort free,the good people of shaghev tiev have done nothing wrong to trigger the barbaric act carried out on them by men of the Nigerian army.

We will not hesitate to institute a legal petition against The Nigerian Army if the perpetrators of this evil are not found and brought to justice,we have our team of lawyers already on standby,we will not take it kindly if the Nigerian Army fails to fish out those behind this Genocidal attack.

The Nigerian Army is known for protection of lives and properties and border security and not for unleashing terror and genocide on armless civilians.
