Nnamani, Ogbu, Fayose’s son, and others expelled from PDP

Former Enugu State Governor Chimaroke Nnamani, Chris Ogbu, Fayose John, and other individuals have been kicked out of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
According to the PDP, their expulsion was the result of anti-party activity.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) released a statement through its National Publicity Secretary Debo Ologunagba that read, “The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Party today, Friday, February 10, 2023, at its 566th meeting approved the expulsion of the following individuals from the Party for anti-Party activities and other grave offences in violation of the PDP Constitution (as amended in 2017).”

Ajijola Oladimeji (Ekiti Central), Olayinka Olalere (Ekiti Central II), Akerele Oluyinka (Ekiti North I), and Emiola Jennifer are a few other people that were expelled from the party (Ekiti South II).

The expulsion is effective as of Friday, February 10, 2023 is now. The National Disciplinary Committee’s recommendation led to the NWC’s decision, which was made in accordance with Sections 58 and 59 (1)(g) of the PDP Constitution (as revised in 2017).

The PDP calls on all of its supporters nationwide to stick together and keep their attention on the party’s purpose to “Rescue, Rebuild, and Redirect our nation from misrule.”
