Mr. Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party (LP), has encouraged his supporters to join them in dismantling the killing infrastructure that the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its predecessor, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), take pride in.

In addition, he emphasized that Nigerians must support him and his running mate, Baba Datti-Ahmed, in the February 2023 presidential election in order to reclaim their nation from ill, elderly, and entitlement-minded politicians.

At the presidential rally yesterday in Osogbo’s Freedom Park, he made the request.

The parties that boast about their structures, according to Obi, are only able to highlight murders, unrest, and sporadic university lecturers’ strikes as notable accomplishments.

Africans, he said are starving, youths lack employment, and it is unsafe to move anyplace in Nigeria right now.

“Those who claim to have party structures, but these structures have crippled Nigeria, are to blame for all these problems.

“I want you to vote these institutions out next month with your help.

We intend to reunite and secure Nigeria, and we want all Nigerians to be proud to be so. A safe Nigeria will be delivered by us.

Internally Displaced Persons, or IDP, camps are not places where Nigerians should be. In your own country, we don’t want you to be a slave.

“We’re going to rule this nation out of reverence for God. We’ll provide you with work, and we’ll turn Nigeria from a consuming nation into a producing one.

These folks are constantly claiming to have structures while doing nothing. We will address these issues since they are not creating anything in this state and there are many unemployed young people.

He urged Nigerians not to vote based on religious or ethnic feelings but added that the nation needed leaders who were mentally and physically capable to lead it out of its current predicament.

He urged Nigerians to recover their funds from those who had stolen them and remove them from office.
