Police have recovered the body of a 23-year-old man who was slain by suspected Fulani herders in a Bayelsa hamlet.The body of a 23-year-old man, Victor Anozie Alex, has been found by the Bayelsa State Police Command after he was allegedly slaughtered by suspected herders in Okumoni community of Okordia clan, Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State. Alex’s decaying body was discovered in the bush by a team of local locals searching for missing members of the community following the herdsmen attack. Last week’s attack by rampaging herdsmen allegedly killed two chiefs from Zarama and Okumoni communities, both of the Okordia tribe. Several more were injured. On Monday, March 20, the body of another man, Bob Wilson of Okumoni, was discovered. The victim was gruesomely murdered by killer herdsmen at Lake Sam.
