The Washington Monument is a must see in DC. It is awesome to see and up close and personal it exceeds the expectations of visitors to the monument. Take a moment to see this. A visit to this place is worth the trip. You must also get your get tickets in advance. So interesting how it was built and how states are represented. View of all directions is captivating. It is filled with rich history .George Washington was the first proud elected . Both he and Lincoln have exuberant memorials fit for their contribution to the United States, and both monuments are worth checking out. 

Library of Congress  

Located in Washington, D.C the Library of Congress is the national library of the United States government , and represents the research arm of the U.S. Congress. It is an open place where you can search for the oldest cultural institution in US.The Library of Congress was established on April 24, 1800, when President John Adams signed an act of Congress allowing for the transfer of the U.S. Government from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the new capital city of Washington, D.C.
