BREAKING: Sen. Iyorchia Ayu Emerges PDP National Chairman


Former Senate President, Iyorchia Ayu has emerged as the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Ayu who hails from Benue State, North geopolitical zone of Nigeria, emerged through consensus on Saturday during the just-concluded National Convention of the party in Abuja.

The convention, which was concluded on Sunday morning, had a 25-year-old man, Prince Mohammed Kadade Suleiman from Kaduna state elected as the Youth Leader of the party.

While Taofeek Arapaja was elected Deputy National Chairman (South), Umar Damagum emerged Deputy National Chairman (North and Rt. Hon. Debo Ologunagba is the brand new National Publicity Secretary of the party.
