Mr. Victor Ora, a businessman, dragged his wife, Comfort, before a Customary Court in Jikwoyi, Abuja, on Monday for an alleged secret marriage.
In his divorce petition, Victor stated, “my wife moved out of our house without informing me.” When I found her, she admitted that she had married another man.
“I am requesting that our marriage be annulled on these grounds.”
He told the judge that his sister-in-law was also preventing him from seeing his son.
“I was told that my son was with my sister-in-law, so I went to see him, but she refused to let me see him.”
“She has promised that I will only see him after she is gone.” I beg your pardon.
“I beg the court to dissolve the marriage and give me custody of my son,” he said.
Mr. Labaran Gusau, the presiding judge, adjourned the case until Nov. 30 for further proceedings.
